Electrical Update...

Progress has been made on the kitchen. It seems like minimal progress, but it is progress none the less...

All the wiring is done for the outlets, recessed lighting, the pendent light, switches, cable (for both the kitchen and the gym room,) speakers, and my personal favorite...a switch has been put in for the hallways light! WAHOO! All it needs is a new fixture, but that will have to wait for a while as the fixture we want is backordered till June!

Anyhow here are some progress photos:










Here are a couple shots of something we came across that was unexpected. A recessed header has to be put in place where we're removing the door into the hallway. The door frame itself isn't supporting the 2nd floor, but we discovered that nothing was supporting the 2nd floor. Since we uncovered this issue, we now have to address it because it won't pass inspection as is. So here are some images of what we have going on in the meantime for support...
